We were without a Q until late last night, so I suspected that turnout this AM may be weak, so I was glad to see Pusser and visitor Flowrider show up in the gloom.
Warmup – Mosey to end of pier, 15 IC SSH, 15 IC Jeff Imperial Walkers, 5 IC worse worse worse merkins
Mosey to parking lot – do DB drills down the parking lot, following the parking lines. Then we did a set of ATMs – 10 IC should Taps, 10 IC tempo merkins, 10 OYO fast merkins, no rest between.
Mosey to playground – 5 burpees, 5 pullups, 15 squats, 20 LBCs. Repeat with 4 burpees, 4 pull-ups, 15 squats, 20 LBCs. Rinse and repeat three more times with 3, 2, and 1 burpees/pull-ups.
Mosey to elevated living room. Another round of ATMs. Then 15 Stepups each leg. Then go to upper perimeter and bear crawl one side, lunge walk another, burpee broad jump another, lunge walk the last.
I learned at some point during the workout that Pusser lost 100 pounds over the last few years, and Flowrider lost 50. Impressive!
Since Pusser and Flowrider are both aspiring runners, we ended with a 15 minute mosey, partially down the beach.
No announcements except the three of us are all planning on making tomorrow’s workout. Balled it up and prayed it out.
